Blue Turnout Project

The value of a Democratic Senate is bigger this year than any other.  After decades of voter suppression, growing wealth inequality, racial injustice, and the growing impact of the climate crisis, Blue Turnout Project is mounting a sustained effort to ensure a better future for all Americans.

Our goal is within reach.

Flipping the U.S. Senate to a Democratic Majority comes down to Georgia, join us today!

Taher Hasanali

Advisory Board

Driven by his passion to fight and mitigate Climate Change, Taher quit his engineering job to join the political world and ensure we have politicians and the awareness to address the issues that will trouble the world over the next 50 years. Throughout this year, he has worked for the Democratic Party of Georgia leading a team of Coordinators that worked with State Legislature Candidates to equip their campaigns to help maximize turnout in key counties that helped flip the state. In addition, he has been a strong ally and proponent of targeted outreach efforts towards the AAPI population by helping create ethnicity specific phone bank lists, serving as Chair of the AAPI Caucus for the Young Democrats of Georgia, and starting a non-partisan organization called Chalo Vote dedicated to providing language friendly and simplified resources to help turnout and educate South Asian voters on civics and the voting process.
